On Saturday, the UFC finishes its stint of three fight cards in one week in Jacksonville with UFC on ESPN 9. the most event features two top-10 ranked heavyweight fighters.

The headlining bout matches the No. 8 ranked Alistair Overeem against the No. 9 ranked Walt Harris. This fight was scheduled to require place in December, but a family tragedy forced Harris from that event.

Harris’ stepdaughter, Aniah Blanchard went missing in late October. Blanchard’s body was found a month later in Macon County, Alabama. Blanchard, 19, was abducted outside a shop. Her explanation for death, consistent with AL.com, was a gunshot wound to the top. Ibraheem Yazeed, 29, was initially charged with first-degree kidnapping. A capital murder indictment was later added against Yazeed.

“I had an interview with my wife at some point, and she or he was like, ‘Why don’t you begin back training and obtain your mind off of it?’” Harris said before Saturday’s fight (via MMA Junkie). “There was some extent where, honestly, brooding about anything but my daughter was wrong. I battled that so hard. i used to be like, ‘If i’m going back to fighting, am I not thinking for her? Am I not doing the proper thing by her?’”

“I prayed about it,” Harris added. “I could hear her telling me, ‘Daddy, i would like you to travel back. i would like you to fight. this is often what we worked so hard (for). I sacrificed such a lot. Mom sacrificed such a lot. You sacrificed such a lot to urge to where you’re. i might be more upset with you if you stopped fighting.’

“That’s once I went back within the gym and began getting back in shape. I put a goal out there of once I wanted to fight, just to quite give myself some incentive and motivation outside of what I already had.”

Harris is unbeaten in his past four fights. He brings a 13-7-0-1 record into the octagon on Saturday. All 13 of Harris’ wins have come via knockout. His most up-to-date victory was a 12-second knockout of Aleksei Oleinik in July.

Overeem, who brings an experience advantage into this fight, features a career record of 45-18-0-1. Overeem, a former UFC heavyweight title challenger, lost his most up-to-date outing. Jairzinho Rozenstruik knocked him out late within the fifth round of their December matchup. Overeem’s past 11 losses have all come via knockout. He has not lost a fight via anything aside from KO since Fabrício Werdum submitted him in 2006.

It was screened in the Contemporary World Cinema section of the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival.

It is one of the first films to address the issue of prostitution in Morocco. Telling the lives of four female sex workers, it brings to the forefront the exploitation of prostitutes by pimps and the corruption of the police, that sometimes even profits from the trade. The film stirred a national debate before it was released when a few video clips were leaked on the web. Thereafter, the lead actress received death threats and religious authorities condemned the film for portraying a negative image of Morocco, with its supporting of extramarital sex and sympathy for homosexuals

How is that this for a fast turnaround? After not having an occasion for quite a month, the UFC is making up for lost time with three shows in six days.

After Saturday’s UFC 249 pay-per-view show, the UFC returns to the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena for UFC Fight Night: Smith vs. Teixeira.

It really depends on who you ask.
At any rate, here’s how you’ll watch the show which will feature a crucial light heavyweight bout within the main event spot.

Date: Wednesday, May 13
Time: 6 pm ET for Prelims, 9 pm ET for Main Card
TV: None
Live Stream: ESPN+

The Draw
In a clash between two light heavyweight contenders who have already had one chance at the UFC championship, No. 3-ranked Anthony Smith faces No. 8 Glover Teixeira. Smith lost to Jon Jones in his title opportunity in March 2019, but rebounded with a submission convert Alexander Gustafsson but three months later.

He’s been out of action for nearly a year, addressed multiple reschedulings of his next bout, and been a victim of a housebreaking.
It’s been a rough year for Smith, but a victory over Teixeira would keep him positioned to remain within striking distance of anyone who is holding the crown.

Teixeira faced and fell to Jones back in April 2014. Since the defeat, and a loss in his next fight to Phil Davis, Teixeira has gone 8-3 which includes his current three-fight win streak.
A victory over Smith would vault Teixeira back to the highest 5, and put him on the brink of what would probably be his final chance at UFC gold–at least as a light-weight heavyweight.

The Co-Main Event
After spending his entire UFC career fighting as a light-weight heavyweight, Ovince Saint Preux is moving up. OSP’s first test at heavyweight comes against one among the most important of all the giants.

Ben Rothwell may be a massive and powerful man coming off a controversial victory over Stefan Struve in his last fight, and two losses prior. The veteran heavyweight must keep winning to justify his spot on the roster.

OSP should have a serious advantage in speed and explosiveness, but Rothwell’s size and grappling ability are nothing to require lightly.

This is an intriguing fight because Rothwell will compete with desperation and it’ll be interesting to ascertain how well OSP carries the additional weight.

The Full Card and Fights of Interest
Here may be a check out the entire card along side a couple of of the more interesting notes about other fights and fighters in action on Wednesday.

Andrei Arlovski vs. Philipe Lins
Michael Johnson vs. Thiago Moisés
Hunter Azure vs. Brian Kelleher
Chase Sherman vs. Ike Villanueva

Dober vs. Hernandez Has Fight-of-the-Night Potential
After getting off to a quick start in his career, Alex Hernandez was humbled by a one-sided beatdown at the hands of Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in January 2019. He rebounded from the loss with a unanimous-decision convert Francisco Trinaldo in July 2019. He’ll attempt to keep the wins flowing on Wednesday, but his opponent is on his own roll.

Dober has been on a tear. He has scored back-to-back first-round KO victories over Polo Reyes and Nasrat Haqparast. Moreover, Dober has been in outstanding shape physically, and he appears as focused as ever.

Hernandez is ranked No. 15, and Dober wants variety next to his name. Expect a physical and spirited battle which may steal the show on Wednesday night.

Philipe Lins Makes UFC Debut
Former 2018 Professional Fighters League champion Philipe Lins makes his UFC debut against former UFC Heavyweight Champion and current gatekeeper Andrei Arlovski. The Brazilian referred to as Monstro smashed his way through Alex Nicholson, Caio Alencar, Jared Rosholt, and John Copeland on the way to an undefeated run and therefore the title.

Arlovski has faced a who’s who of the UFC’s heavyweight division over a career that spans 21 years. At 41, he’s coming off a first-round KO loss to Jairzinho Rozenstruik, and searching to ruin Lins’ UFC introduction. Can Lins pass his first test?
Be on the lookout for post-event coverage on Wednesday night, also as previews for the most card and prelims.

WWE Money In The Bank 2020: How to watch, Date, Time, TV, And Live Stream

WWE Money within the Bank 2020 takes place on Sunday, May 10 from WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut aka the Titan Towers.

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, WWE has had to be ultra creative to stay its product afloat, and therefore the promotion has planned a couple of firsts for the MITB matches on this card.

Here’s how you’ll watch.
Date: Sunday, May 10
Time: WWE MITB Pre-Show at 6pm ET, MITB PPV at 7pm ET
TV: Check your local cable provider
Live Stream: WWE Network
The Draw

There are obviously several title matches on tap for this year’s MITB card, but the most important draw is that the theme matches that the show is known as. Because the lads and women’s matches will happen simultaneously this year, there’s a even more novelty.

To add another layer, the battle for the briefcases will start on the bottom floor of the Titan Towers with the prizes on the rooftops of the building.
This could open the door to more of the theatrical presentation that was such successful during WrestleMania last month.

On the men’s side, Otis, AJ Styles, Rey Mysterio, Daniel Bryan, Baron Corbin, and Aleister Black will battle for the briefcase during a match that might seemingly be designed for the latter to travel over.
However, consistent with BetOnline, Styles (-125) is that the favorite to win the MITB contract.

Whenever we consider the winner of this match annually, the presentation surrounding the potential cash-in involves mind. Classic cash-ins just like the ones Dolph Ziggler (Raw) and Randy Orton achieved (SummerSlam) in 2013 are memorable examples.

With that in mind, it might seem Black (+200) could have one among the more theatrical cash-ins, and he’s definitely a star who looks to be headed for the highest portion of the most card. That said, Styles has been great as a nasty guy, and heel cash-ins seem to be a touch more special. Perhaps which will play a task within the booking decision.

On the women’s side, Shayna Baszler (-150) is that the favorite over Asuka, Carmella, Nia Jax, Dana Brooke and Lacey Evans. However, Baszler was also the favourite at WrestleMania, and she or he didn’t re-evaluate against Becky Lynch.

Nia Jax (+300) is a stimulating option during this match, although heel Asuka (+600) would be an intriguing longshot because the MITB briefcase winner. She has found new life in her current role, and her stint on commentary added a layer to her persona. it’d not be a horrible idea to offer her a fresh push since WWE about abandoned her singles relevancy several months ago.

The Title Matches
In total, there are four titles on the road at MITB.

WWE Champion Drew McIntyre (-700) may be a huge favorite to retain against Seth Rollins. WWE would be bold–and crazy–to take the title off McIntyre at now. His validation as a main-eventer is simply getting started and he hasn’t had a chance to feel the love from the gang due to the restrictions brought on by the coronavirus.
Braun Strowman will defend his Universal Championship against Bray Wyatt. Who knows how this one will play out? Strowman is that the slight favorite at -130, but it’s possible Wyatt could regain the title he never should have dropped to Goldberg at assets.

That’s why Bray’s odds to win are at -110.

The New Day (+100) will defend the SmackDown Tag-Team titles during a Fatal-Four-Way against The Miz and John Morrison (+125), The Forgotten Sons (+250), and Lucha party (+500).

The odds are close for this one too, but I’m leaning toward The Miz and Morrison to regain their titles. there’s more value in them as champions than elongating another de facto New Day title reign.

Last but not least, Bayley (-500) defends the SmackDown Women’s title against Tamina (+300). Bayley is that the second biggest favorite on the cardboard, and with good reason. Almost nobody expects Tamina to travel over during this match.

Tamina isn’t likely to win the title, but she’s been propped from late as a threat.

However, this program is simply a transition into Bayley’s next real feud. Here may be a check out the entire MITB card.

The Rest of the cardboard
WWE Championship match: Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Seth Rollins.
Universal Championship match: Braun Strowman (c) vs. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt.
Women’s Money within the Bank match: Asuka vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Nia Jax vs. Dana Brooke vs. Lacey Evans vs. Carmella.
Men’s Money within the Bank match: Daniel Bryan vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Aleister Black vs. King Corbin vs. Otis vs. AJ Styles.
SmackDown Tag Team Championship four-way: The New Day (c) vs. The Miz and John Morrison vs. The Forgotten Sons vs. Lucha party.
SmackDown Women’s Championship: Bayley (c) vs. Tamina.

Be sure to see back for a recap of the highest matches from MITB, and an overall post-event check out MITB 2020 with results and grades on Sunday night.

The venue may have changed and fans won’t be crowded round the octagon but many of the fights originally scheduled for UFC 249 are going to be included on the new card. the most important change though is that Tony Ferguson will now be taking over Justin Gaethje within the Interim UFC Lightweight Championship as Khabib Nurmagomedov is unable to go away his home country of Russia thanks to its coronavirus travel restrictions.

Ferguson is understood for his incredible cardio and pressure while Gaethje’s kill or be killed mentality sets himself aside from the pack.
